I trained as a theatre practitioner specialising in physical theatre, touring with small scale children’s theatre companies until I ran away with the circus to Sydney Australia to train in clown and aerial disciplines.

On returning to the U.K., I co-founded Cirque Idyllic, a theatrical Circus collective who toured Europe with an aerial musical ” Cabaret at The end of the world” . Cirque Idyllic also transformed unusual spaces into venues and curated cabaret events.

After 5 years of frolics, fun and corsets, I landed back in Bristol to have a baby and a new passion for creative arts for children grew with my daughter.

In 2012 I collaborated with Jacky Crosher to set up Hinged Theatre who produce interactive, highly physical shows for young audiences and their families in outdoor and surprising settings. This led me to study for an MA in theatre for young audiences at Bath Spa university , from which I graduated with a distinction.

2016- I moved to the Forest of Dean where I  developed my practice as an  inclusive  arts practitioner for Arts on prescription projects delivering workshops for young people with underlying health conditions and mental health issues and adults with access needs in  partnership with Artspace Cinderford

2017 -I started work creating a show called "Thrills, spills and anti-inflammatory pills" with Sally Gibson. A piece to hi light the highs and lows of working as a mid life aerial artist funded by Arts council England . We showcased the pilot piece at The Courtyard Hereford , Birmingham MAC and Strike a light festival.

2018- I trained as an aerial yoga teacher with Jost Blomeyer in Berlin .

2021- I trained with Lydia Campbell in Trigger Point pilates specialising in womens health.

2022-I launched my creative wellbeing and fitness company Phoenix and am currently training with Bristol school of yoga on the 300 hours advanced  yoga teacher training course.

I  am qualified as an inclusive arts leader and in aerial rigging for performance and teaching.

I have an advanced DBS certificate and have safe guarding training for vulnerable adults and children

and........ I still find time to entertain the public as comedy walkabout characters, on stilts, roller skates , on the ground and in the air. I can also be seen at private events performing fire shows and aerial acts.
